Dr. Donald Plumb Joins Newly Formed Brief Media Board of Directors Following Pharmavet Sale

Brief Media, publisher of Clinician’s Brief, has announced the acquisition of Pharmavet, Inc, creator of the leading veterinary drug reference, the Plumb’s® Veterinary Drug Handbook, and Brief Media’s partner in the software as a service (SaaS) equivalent, Plumb’s® Veterinary Drugs.

In 2015, Brief Media partnered with renowned author Donald C. Plumb, PharmD, owner of Pharmavet, to deliver the trusted content of the Plumb’s® Veterinary Drug Handbook via Plumb’s® Veterinary Drugs, a SaaS solution accessible to subscribers via desktop, tablet, and mobile device. Following the acquisition of Pharmavet, Dr. Plumb will be joining Brief Media’s newly formed Board of Directors to provide guidance regarding further development of the Plumb’s® brand.

Created for veterinarians and pharmacists, Plumb’s® Veterinary Drugs expands on the original book content by offering digital subscribers up‑to‑date drug information, rapid search functionality, favorites and notes features for user‑specific customization, and medication guides for pet owners.
